🚨 New paper on arXiv: Proof of the entropic $c$-theorem

I prove an entropic $c$-theorem in two dimensions, with the $c$-function built from the mutual information between spacelike separated wedges. The proof follows Casini and Huerta’s, with strong subadditivity replaced by “increasing differences” of the mutual information, which I prove directly in the continuum from the split property and relative entropy. Every quantity is finite, so no cutoff is ever needed.
